We held our AGM on 7th August and our standing committee were re-elected unopposed.

My thanks to all our volunteers for their unfailing efforts.

On a sad note Bruce Deitz, Member # 4 (inaugural member) (aged 90), passed away on 10th August.
Lindsay Threadgate, Di Williams and I represented the club at his funeral.

We had a member’s social day out for lunch at Caves Beach Hotel (more in Brenton’s report).

On 11 September, we represented the club on a stand at Pat Conroy MP’s Aged Care Expo at Belmont 16 Foot Sailing Club – there were 2 sessions – 10:30 am and 2:00 pm.

We have had a number of our volunteer team on the sick list. Mitzi and Ray are now back on deck,
Denise and Grahame are still recovering.

We will be on a break for School holidays from  Monday 27 September to Friday 8th October.
