Hi Everyone,

We made it through the school holidays and navigated our way through to start our classes as planned.

National Volunteers Week is 18 May to 24 May.

Give a big shout-out to all our wonderful volunteers. I will be presenting them all with Certificates of Appreciation. Remember to say thank you to them when you see them next week.

We are always looking for new volunteers, and if you have some spare time and would like to learn how you can help others (and yourself), talk to any of the volunteers you see, and come and see me.

We are a happy ‘family’, and you would be most welcome to join us.

Our Social Organiser, Brenton Elsey, arranged a social day out for us locally with Barefoot Bowls at Club Lambton last Friday, 8 May. This was well received by the participants. I don’t think we offer much challenge to regular bowlers; however, we had fun and also enjoyed lunch at the bistro.

Coming up…. Our next free Morning Tea – Monday, 25 May at Club Lambton. If you haven’t already, fill in the attendance form (needed for catering and insurance purposes). Kathy Lewis – from NovaCare will be talking to us about changes (since 1/11/25) to My Aged Care. Kathy has spoken to our club numerous times and always given great advice.

The cut-off date was 18 May. No late entries can be accepted.

If you haven’t realised it yet, we are a fun, safe place to share knowledge and learn about the technology that is a bane to our lives, but we have to learn about it to remain relevant in our society.

We can do it together. Come and enjoy yourself while you learn.
